Issue 2, Spring 2011

Spring has sprung!

The snow seems to have stopped (for now!) and there’s sunshine outside my window, so it definitely seems like Spring at last!  This issue announces the new SureHome video how-to series on letting, examines the new Tenancy Deposit scheme and asks: is it time to fix your mortgage rate before rates start going up again?

The Tenancy Deposit Scheme

Time to fix your mortgage rate?

The Bank of England this month once again voted to maintain the base interest rate at 0.5%.  On the 5th March 2011, it was exactly two years that interest rates have been held at this level.  This begs the question: just how much longer will they be held at this level?

With this in mind, SureHome is offering our customers a fre.e mortgage review during the month of April.  Remember that this offer can be used on your residential property too.  Call 0141 334 7030 now to book your fre.e review.  Read more »

SureHome lets twice as fast!

We just worked out that SureHome lets property twice as fast as the average (CityLets index 2010)!  Both of our offices are performing at least 50% better than the CityLets average times to let for 2010.

At our Glasgow South branch, SureHome properties are letting on average 28 days faster.  This means that our landlords are nearly one whole month’s rent better off!  Read more »
