Tenancy Deposit Scheme Scotland - update

The Tenancy Deposit Schemes (Scotland) Regulations 2011 came into force on 7 March, following approval by Parliament.
This means that Scottish Ministers are now able to consider proposals for the operation of tenancy deposit schemes. Proposals will be assessed against the conditions that are set out in the regulations. However, until suitable proposals are received, they say that it is not possible to confirm when a tenancy deposit scheme will be introduced.
